Ok, I give up on getting used to a schedule ever again. It took a good amount of time to get used to the 24 hour shifts and the set to begin with.
But this year he had his injury that kept him home 30 days, then vacation, this weekend a 72 shift because of OT and then he’ll go on vacation again for Spring break. There is no rhyme or reason to a schedule right now. It’s more difficult this year than ever.
I really thought I was getting a bit of a schedule down for work, his work and balancing. But now it’s all thrown for a loop. No wonder why I’m so scattered. I’m not visiting my favorite personal blogs either. Not to post on my own, nor to go and visit others and see what they are up to. 
I’m sure as soon as I get used to this lack of regular schedule something else will change it up. If I remember right he didn’t get a lot of vacation days this Summer. No doubt we’ll go to a regular schedule and then I’ll have to adjust to not seeing him much again. Which is where I’m at this weekend. Can’t wait for him to get home. I was 3 hours away at a meeting the day before he went to work, so it seems like a lot longer than 72.
