It’s only been 2 weeks into the new year and our Fit Fire Wife challenge but already we are hearing inspiring stories like this from one of our Fire Wives in the private group:
My name is Heidi and being a mom of 3 I forgot to also take care of myself. My youngest was diagnosed with a condition known as Selective Mutism 5 years ago, that’s when I went down hill! I became an emotional eater and spent more time researching then moving. 5 years and many pounds later it clicked that if I didn’t take control of me I would not be around to see my kids graduate, get married or anything else life threw at them. I have been on my New Year New Me mission for about a week and I’m hanging in there So far I’ve lost 5 pounds but its 5 I will never see again!!! I’ve been watching what I feed my body and also my family. We are walking around the neighborhood and being more active! It’s a long road but one I will stay on! I have about 115 pounds to lose and I can’t wait to show my kids that if you put your mind to something you can achieve it!!
