Here’s how this works
To participate, become a member of the Fire Wife Sisterhood, memberships start at FREE. You have nothing to lose but maybe some bad habits and a few pounds!
You’re here and that’s already a great start! No matter if your goal is to shed some weight, drop unhealthy habits, learn to cook healthy meals, become more active or become more involved in activities like running, you’ll fit right in! When you register for our Fire Wife Fitness group, you’ll be added to a secret Facebook page just for Fit Fire Wives. New months and seasons bring new goals or new areas to work on with improving your overall health. Healthy recipes are shared. Challenges are issued. Find encouragement and support from others working towards your health goals. Exchange workout or exercise advice. We have ladies who want to work on walking a few miles a week all the way to ladies who want to frequently fun 5Ks and more! This program is open and great to anyone of any fitness level with any fitness or health goals. The Fit Fire Wife Program is open ALL YEAR ROUND!
Specific Fit Fire Wife programs and challenges happen throughout the year with our Fire Wife Sisterhood community. As a group we engage together in a focused fitness season with accountability partners and sometimes even rewards. The Fit Fire Wife community is made of a few great Group Leaders who will facilitate the group together and individually through different programs and challenges. They are committed not only to their health but they are also committed to motivate, encourage and challenge you to be your best you too, whatever that means for you. Choose which programs and challenge that you want to participate in, no pressure to participate in them all. Engage within the community to keep yourself and others motivated and encouraged as you take a journey to being your best, together!
There’s no “biggest loser” or weight loss award. No one wins a car or money 😉 No magic tricks or weight loss miracles. This is about trying YOUR BEST and being fit, healthy and energetic and extending our life by a few healthy years. Although, we do often have small give-a-ways for those who participate and report their progress during monthly challenges! Over the last few years we have journeyed together through many Monthly Challenges, Daily Inspirationals, 5K Training Encouragment, Group Fitness Book Studies, a few rounds of Charity Diet Bets and much more!
We have listed a blog series about healthy eating and fitness routines at the end of this post. Walk through them one day at a time and decide which is best for you! Just remember to always talk with your doctor before making any drastic choices, starting new diets or exercise routines. There is no magic formula here, just finding the best fit for you.
