My Dad was on our city council for 15 years, so each of my kids were in the Christmas parade every year since conception. lol I would drive my Dad's car and the kids would walk (if they were old enough) with Grandpa and pass out candy to the other kids. Talk about memories! Your kids will totally freak out to see Daddy in the parade and he can suck it up for his kids just one year ;) They truly would love it.
