We all need to be Fit Fire Wives.  No excuses.  We may not always be in the perfect state of fitness but it needs to be a top priority and something you are working towards.  Let’s face it.  We need to be there for our families while our husbands are away serving others.  And we want to be strong and healthy to enjoy those retirement years.  And then there is the grim reality that our husband could lose his life on the job.  And that would leave me as the only caretaker of our family.  Heck yeah I want to stay fit.

Here is a crazy good testimonial from Fire Wife Nanette.

Nanette is on the right in 2012. She says at her heaviest weight outside of being pregnant.

She dropped 5 pants sizes in 4 months!!!  FIVE!

I asked her the two big questions.

1.  What did you eat?

2. How did you work out?

Here’s what she said:

All I did was eat what ever I wanted…in moderation, the right size portions is a huge part! I did limit my fried foods to almost none, I eat alot of baked and

grilled food also you do not have to have eat meat every night! I take a regular otc multi vitamin 3-4 times a week. For exercise I run, I zumba, power yoga and Pilates. Since my spine was “essentially crushed” in 2008 i can not do traditional sit ups so I sit on my giant yoga ball and from there u can do sit ups and push ups (i also have “traumatic carpal tunnel” and arthritis in my wrists) the ball helps wonders! It took me 4 months to get to this point! I will not stop I will continue to stay healthy! My kids and husband and I deserve it!

If that doesn’t motivate you, I don’t know what will.  Major congratulations to Nanette.
