The Best Gift You Can Give Is Free. It’s Love.
There are more than 12 days before Christmas. Lots of fun traditional gift giving starts on the 12 days before Christmas. But you all know how 12 days work in the fire life. He’s on. He’s on. He’s off for 4. He’ on for 1. So GET CREATIVE and be flexible. We do it for our kids birthdays and holidays, why not for your intimacy? There are ways to celebrate your marriage intimately even when you are apart. And actually, anticipation may be the best part of this.
Don’t get caught up in needing to make that Pinterest perfect sign or letter you sneak into his bag. What he really wants is YOU. And that’s simple. A little extra loving every day is also a great way to stay united through the stresses of family over the holidays. Just wink across the room at him. He knows what you’re thinking 😉
And to help you out, w have a FREE e-book called 12 Steamy Days with your Firefighter. You can do this anytime throughout the year but we like to tweak it for the 12 Steamy Days of Christmas.
This doesn’t have to be purely sexual. I want to throw that out there, you can make this more about intimacy. It does not have to mean sex. (But seriously ladies if you start 12 steamy days and don’t throw in some really sexy times, he’s going to be disappointed!) But anything to build the bond between you and your firefighter is worth doing. This is definitely something you can make fit YOUR life. Our suggestions are merely that, suggestions. It can be as tame or as wild as you wish! 😉
If you are struggling in this space and want to connect with our fire wives to chat about this, our 2 most active groups in the Fire Wife Sisterhood are ‘Fire Up Your Love Life” and “Rescue My Marriage”. It’s FREE to join by clicking this link. You can always upgrade at a later date if you prefer the Supporting Levels! Or go back to Day 10 of Fire Family Shopping and request a Marriage on Fire membership for Christmas!
