Are you seeing a pattern with the first few days? Communication, it’s key because it can unlock so many doors!
I definitely have a list of things that are on my “Not to be discussed” with my husband. Those things are meaningless opinions that only bring conflict, they go on the list and we agree to disagree and not discuss. There is no need to revisit topics that are trivial and result in an argument. So important when the topic holds no real value, why go there when you don’t have to?
BUT…, there are a million other things that we can discuss or look at from another view without a heated debate. All on this graphic would be great conversations ;). Finding that sweet spot for discussing the tough topics takes practice and patience. To not only share your thoughts, but to recive your spouse’s thoughts well. The tough important topics need deep caring replies and sometimes compromise!
What topics are you grateful you are able to discuss with your spouse?
