In sickness and in health, we’re on Day 12!

Most marriage vows contain that line.  In sickness and in healthy.  Maybe your’s didn’t… but there’s no doubt that you care enough about your spouse to want to care for them on the sick days just as much as on the healthy days.

I am so thankful for that time I was so sick [insert your memory here] and my spouse took SUCH good care of me, showing me the true meaning of unconditional love.

Unconditional friendship

The Fire Wife Sisterhood has been going strong since the moment we opened a FirefighterWife Facebook group a few years ago.  Within a few hours, there were hundreds of members and today we are at thousands.  It was instant connection and bonding for so many women.  Lifelong friendships have been formed and the group setting is one of unconditional friendship and encouragement.

The Honor Guard has only been open since June but the bonds forming and the commitment to honor their marriages and the marriages of their brothers is growing daily!  There are over 1000 Honor Guard members.

The Fire Wife Sisterhood is for women married to or dating a firefighter and the 24-7 Commitment Honor Guard for men who are devoted to their marriages and firefighting.

Jessie -

A small town girl from Southwest Georgia who happens to value your marriage as much as she does her own. She is married to a firefighter who was a volunteer for several years, then transitioned into a career fireman the same month they married in 2008, and he is now a Captain at his full-time Department. They have two daughters, have been in the FFW family since 2012 and know marriage takes a lot of work, even when it's in the best seasons.
