rescue pack

The first Rescue Pack Exchange of 2016 is here!

Ready to be rescued?  The history of our Rescue Pack Exchange Program is full of changes.  As we grow, we evolve, see what works, what doesn’t and adapt to grow this program as our members do.  Since this program is ever growing and changing, we want to let you know what the March 2016 exchange program looks like. You can participate in one or two ways.  Please be sure to read requirements and guidelines in full before registering for any exchange.  Those who are not eligible will be removed and those who do not fulfill their commitment to their Rescue Pack match will not be allowed to participate in future exchanges.

Small Group Participants

If you are in a Small Group with at least 15 participants (What are small groups?  Read this), you can register to be included in the Rescue Pack Exchange for that specific small group.  *If you are in multiple groups, PLEASE ONLY CHOOSE ONE GROUP to exchange in.  All information will be posted in your Small Group. The Group Leaders for each group will post more details about each exchange and will have all of the information you need to participate.  Group Leaders will determine your Theme and will also post within the group the list of matches. Holding up your end of the exchange is important. You can read the entire guidelines, including price limits, mailing options and deadlines, HERE.   And only if you are in a Small Group….head over to this link to get yourself registered.

24-7 Commitment Supporters

Supporters, you too can participate!  If you are a 24-7 Commitment Supporter, you can sign up for the General Exchange among all Supporters who want to participate.  The theme for the 24-7 Supporter Rescue Packs you ask?  Get to know your Sister!  This may sound tricky, but really, it’s not!  Talk to your match, find out their likes and dislikes and send them something that you think they’ll love.   All Rescue Pack guidelines are the same, including price limits and mailing options, and can be found HERE.

Help support the Marriage and Family driven Mission of 24-7 Commitment

Why should you consider becoming a 24-7 Commitment Supporter?
There are several supporter levels to consider for every financial need. Not only do you benefit in your own marriage and family, but also have the ability to reach out and begin supporting marriages and families throughout the fire service and beyond when you become a Supporter or give a Donation.  Supporting levels come with added bonuses that increase with each level.  Find one that fits your individual needs.

24-7 COMMITMENT is a federally registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  Your support is appreciated in any way. Our funding is primarily from individual donors and allows us to create and operate programs such a Marriage On Fire, the Fire Wife Sisterhood and the Honor Guard community for plus our annual Commitment Weekends for First Responders. Through your support we can continue to Honor, Strengthen and Support Fire Service Marriages & Families.

She is married to a firefighter who was a volunteer for several years, then transitioned into a career fireman the same month they married in 2008, and he is now a Captain at his full-time Department. They have two daughters, have been in the FFW family since 2012 and know marriage takes a lot of work, even when it's in the best seasons.
