Sunday, January 26th, 2014 two Toledo Firefighters died in the line of duty. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers continue to go to their families, both blood and FIRE. We are honored that our Fire Wife Sisterhood members in the Toledo area are stepping up and serving these families with such love and compassion. One of the wives of a Toledo Firefighter sent a poem she had written for her husband and we would like to share with you all. The fact is that no matter what type of firefighter our men are, we all know exactly what she is saying.
If you are living in fear while your firefighter is on duty we encourage you to read this post about the Emotional Roller Coaster of LODDs and this post from guest writer David Soler from FirefighterToolbox.com on the Chances of an LODD. We also invite you to see if the Fire Wife Sisterhood is right for you. Fire Wife love to you all!
