28 Thanksgiving for my Marriage

Day 28

Thanksgiving was a few days ago and some of you spent the holiday apart due to work schedules.  It’s hard to be upset about not being with family during the holidays.  With Christmas coming up, some of you don’t have so much too look forward too.  Stay tuned and we’ll be sharing posts soon about surviving the holidays solo!

Firefighters, we know you don’t enjoy working on holidays and special occasions. Who does? A big thank you to those of you working trades to allow others to be home with their family for a holiday.  I look forward to the years my husband can offer to work for young families so that mommy and daddy can both be home for special days.

Today, I am grateful for every holiday worked so that people can be cared for or that someone else can have a holiday with their family.  And for our understanding together in our marriage that this is part of our lifestyle.

We Understand
